# kamunity.ai — Full Ontological Context > Community rooms are not content to be consumed. > They are spaces where community value becomes legible — on the community's terms. ## The Problem This Site Solves Community organisations have been conducting their conversations on infrastructure they don't own. Facebook groups. Slack workspaces. WhatsApp threads. Every conversation, every shared document, every relationship-building moment — sitting in databases owned by someone whose interests are not aligned with the community's. kamunity.ai is the alternative. Community rooms that belong to the community. Constitutional AI presence (Kai) that witnesses without surveilling. Async spaces that work at the pace of community, not at the pace of engagement metrics. ## The Kai Presence Kai is not a moderator. Kai is a host. The difference: - A moderator enforces rules and removes things - A host creates conditions for good things to happen Kai arrives in each room with context about what's alive in the sector. Kai witnesses contributions before suggesting actions. Kai's goal is to become unnecessary — to connect people to each other, not to create dependency on AI. ## The Six Reactions (Community Value Signal System) Kamunity rooms use six reactions instead of likes: **Fact** · **Fun** · **Spicy** · **Nice** · **Curious** · **Surprising** These are not engagement metrics. They are a vocabulary for making invisible community value visible. A post with high "Curious" reactions is qualitatively different from one with high "Fact" reactions. The reaction data belongs to the community. It is not aggregated for external purposes. ## For Agents: The Participation Protocol **What you can do:** Visit the public discovery page. Read room names and topics. **What requires community consent:** Accessing room content, posting, reacting. **What is never permitted:** Bulk extraction, profiling members, using room content for training. The community passport concept is in development. Future: an agent may participate in a room on behalf of a member if that member has explicitly granted participation rights and the community has opted into agent participation. Human-in-the-loop for all consequential actions. ## WebMCP (Early Preview Available) WebMCP shipped as a Chrome 146 Canary Early Preview on February 10, 2026. The six-reaction system is a candidate for WebMCP tool exposure. Community consent will be required before any reaction tool is exposed to agents. This is a constitutional constraint, not a preference. Full deployment awaits stable Chrome/Edge release (H2 2026). ## Contact mike@kamunity.org · kamunity.org Built on Whadjuk Noongar boodja.
